Mission Eif-----Day 13

I realized AFTER I woke up that its 12-12-12 TODAY!
How awesome!
I should have hinted to Benny to make it EXTRA special!
.
.
Altho fresh Reindeer poop straight from the North Pole is pretty special!
.
.
That look on his face says it all.....
Its like he is saying  "Your welcome".

3 socks down.............One more to go!
These have been fun to create with "what I have".
Makes it more challenging...
.
.
.
Charlee got a little trim!
SHE IS 4 and finally has hair!
Beautiful blonde hair!
She has been cutting her hair ever since she was 18 months old.
So this is exciting for us.....lol
.
Scissors were NON existent for awhile at our house....

.
I ran up to B town and grabbed somethings for my mother and to fulfill  my addiction at Sonic.
As we pulled out I saw a car on the side with a man bundled up in winter clothes with a sign saying he is lost and needs gas.
Today is cold.
Windy and cold.  :(
As I drove by I quickly read the sign and gave him a smile.
I did a double take and even sat at the stop sign and looked at him in my rear view mirror.
My heart was beating.......heavy.
I was sad, that he was standing there in need in the cold.
Even if he wasn't telling the truth in his actions, obviously he is in dispare in his life to be at that point where he has to stand out in the cold and ask for help.
.
.
I was sad all the way home.
I had nothing to give him.
I don't have anything to give.....
.
.
.
I got home and turned my car off and Charlee was sitting there very quiet with her $1 marshmallow treat I got for her.
She says  'Mom I love you so very much"  And she smiled.
She being only 4 years old has nothing to give me.
She can't give me money, or things...................But her words and smiles and hugs are ENOUGH.
That's all she is capable to give.
.
.
I couldn't give that cold man any money, or things........but I did give him a sincere smile.
That's all I have at this time, and I am happy with what I have been through these last few months to give a  smile to a complete stranger!

  1. I like to give something to people like that and I agree with you 100%; I give because I want to and if they are not actually in need, that is between them and the Lord. I am glad you smiled at him. I am sure that meant a lot. Most people don't make eye contact; me included if I don't have anything to give. Love ya, girl!
