Take a minute and look at this picture.....

Like really look at it.

I turned it into a antique Black and White and instantly it stood out to me.

I dunno why.....

Maybe it won't, cuz, well......they aren't your kids....lol

But this picture made me CRY!!!!

Jackson is SUCH a protector of Charlee.

When it comes to her, he is weak.

His other arm not to far away----JUST in case its needed.

This Little guy of mine.......

Says to me after Sacament:

 {After listening to his cousin Treavor speak}

" Mom, Im going to be the last Missionary of the family arn't I"

My eyes BRIGHTENED!

Because this is the first time I heard him mention something about HIS own mission.......it was a FIRST!

I know its cuz of the influance of all these missionaries....

Talk about tug on a mothers heart strings.....:)

I love doing little things like this for her.......

This made her whole morning.

She wrapped herself in my mothers favorite blanket, ate Ice cream and drank Milk.

She giggled!

I posted on my Instagram and I LOVED seeing other mothers who feel the same way.

Mornings are My absolute favorite with her.

When she comes running to find me after she crawls out of bed, eagerly waiting to hug me.

I know I will only have a little while longer of these mornings before she starts school............................and grows up!

 

 

 

Today My dad and I and the kids drove to Logan to hear Treavor speak in Sacrament.

Being his farewell is only 3 weeks away....this gave him a little extra practice!

HIS FIRST TALK EVER!

And he completely nailed it!

He challenged each family to make goals together.

My mind is spinning,  I want to take on his challenge with Jax and Charlee and report to Treavor through our letters this new year!

His Testimony is so heart felt......and Tender.

I love him.

I had a thought over the weekend.

I wanted to make something for Jax and Charlee's room so they could see where all their cousins who they love DEARLY are going on their mission.

I don't think in their little minds they comprehend fully.

So I made this sign in photoshop yesterday-------

and where His cousin Josh is......Jax didn't know where  the Netherlands even was.

Jax is extremely close to Treavor who is leaving in 32 days!  :)

He is like Jackson's Older brother.......always has.

I think it will give peace to Jax to see where Treavor will be, and he can look at it every night before bed!

 

I think I will add their dad's Mission on there too......so they can see!

Oh, How I love snow!!

I even like the part where it takes 25 minutes to bundle up your kids.

45 minute of playing time.

We went night sledding----while it snowed and snowed.

I just sat and watched.

My throat got lumpy at times.......watching Mike play with his kids.

THEY laughed and laughed.

After an hour of play time, we came  in for warm baths and Hot cocoa!

I dunno what it is lately about my Jax and Charlee....

But I am just enjoying them more then I ever have.

We have so much fun together and I want them near to me always!

Mike and Charlee made a little Snowman.

The morning of......

 

I'm not going to lie......

This Christmas has MADE an embedded mark on my heart!

It was so magical!

I'm not so sure what was so different from all the MANY Christmases in the past.

My heart is in a TOTALLY different place.

The excitement I got daily from Charlee and Jax  filled me.

COMPLETELY filled me!

They are so happy.....and their enthusiasm for life and the little things gives me  enthusiasm and makes me love life all over again!

These kids got an overload.....

AS they should....:)

All their toys were left in Dumb Ol' Texas!
 

with no faith that I will ever see anything again, and with the help of Mike------we made sure they were taken care of.

Santa is real....:)



 

 

 



 

 Charlee has spent  many hours with her doll house and barbies WITH an elevator just as she requested!

She things her " RollerSkapes" are pretty swell too......:)

Jax doesn't have a favorite toy....

He tells me everyday that this was the best christmas!

HE DOES spend alot of time with his new Itouch tho.....:)

Its a toss up--------Hobbit Lego city is pretty amazing too!!

 

 

 

I think My parents enjoyed having the morning excitement at their house once more.

Its been alot of years without the squealing and tearing into wrapping paper!
